HVAC / AIRCON TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–5 years relevant work experience as HVAC or air-conditioning technician
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems and air-conditioning units
• Knowledge of refrigeration principles, electrical controls, and mechanical components
• Ability to troubleshoot cooling system issues and perform preventive maintenance
• Skilled in handling split-type, central AC, and commercial HVAC systems
• Ability to read basic technical manuals and wiring diagrams
• Physically fit and able to work in hot and confined environments
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair air-conditioning and HVAC systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot cooling and ventilation system problems
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency
• Check refrigerant levels, electrical connections, and mechanical parts
• Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, motors, and sensors
• Ensure proper operation of HVAC systems in buildings and facilities
• Follow safety standards and workplace procedures at all times
• Maintain service records and report system issues to supervisors
• Assist in commissioning and testing of HVAC systems when required
• Support other maintenance tasks as assigned
