Grapecare Limited is seeking an experienced Barber to provide professional men’s grooming services, including precision haircuts, hairstyling, beard grooming, traditional wet shaves, waxing, and hot-towel treatments. The successful candidate should have strong technical barbering skills and be capable of delivering a premium, spa-like grooming experience while maintaining excellent personal presentation, hygiene, and customer service standards.
BARBER
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional barbering experience.
- Strong technical skills in straight-razor shaving, beard trims, beard shaping, and hot-towel beard treatments.
- Experience in waxing and men’s grooming treatments.
- Ability to provide a premium, spa-like grooming experience.
- Knowledge of scalp and facial massage techniques is an advantage.
- Skilled in using professional barbering tools, including clippers, razors, trimmers, and related equipment.
- Good understanding of hair and beard styles suitable for different face shapes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent personal presentation and professional grooming.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and tool sterilization procedures.
- Preferably male applicants.
- Friendly, professional, reliable, and customer-oriented.
- Able to work independently and as part of a professional grooming team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide precision haircuts, hairstyling, and professional grooming services.
- Perform beard trims, beard shaping, and traditional wet shaves.
- Perform straight-razor and clipper services according to client preferences.
- Provide hair and beard coloring services when requested.
- Perform waxing and other men’s grooming treatments.
- Provide hot-towel beard wraps as part of grooming services.
- Incorporate relaxing scalp and facial massage techniques into appropriate grooming services.
- Recommend suitable hairstyles and beard styles based on clients’ preferences, facial features, and face shape.
- Provide a premium, relaxing, and personalized grooming experience.
- Consult with clients regarding their desired hairstyle, beard style, and grooming requirements.
- Maintain excellent personal grooming and professional appearance.
- Clean, disinfect, and properly maintain barbering tools, razors, clippers, and other equipment.
- Follow strict hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Manage client bookings and maintain accurate appointment records.
- Provide friendly, professional, and personalized customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming barbering area.
- Monitor grooming supplies and report shortages when necessary.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
