Baby Food Production Line Technician

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in food manufacturing, production line operations, or a related technical field.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience operating and troubleshooting cooking and extrusion equipment used in food production.
• Practical knowledge of food processing machinery, production line operations, and equipment settings.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, identify equipment faults, and carry out basic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Experience in production line start-up, commissioning, equipment testing, and performance monitoring.
• Experience training and guiding production operators on proper equipment operation and production procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, hygiene, and quality control standards.
• Understanding of production documentation, equipment maintenance records, and quality assurance procedures.
• Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and coordinate effectively with production, maintenance, and quality control teams.
• Previous experience working for international companies or well-known baby food manufacturers is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot cooking and extrusion equipment used in baby food manufacturing.
• Ensure production machinery operates efficiently and consistently according to approved production specifications.
• Perform production line start-up, shutdown, equipment adjustments, and operational checks.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, testing, and optimization of production equipment.
• Monitor machine settings, processing temperatures, production speeds, and other operating parameters to maintain product quality.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Identify mechanical, electrical, and operational problems and perform basic troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel for equipment repairs, servicing, and replacement of defective components.
• Train and guide production operators on equipment operation, safety procedures, and proper production practices.
• Ensure that production activities comply with HACCP, GMP, food safety, hygiene, and quality control requirements.
• Monitor production processes and report equipment abnormalities, product defects, and operational issues to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, production activities, maintenance work, and quality checks.
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Follow company safety procedures and ensure that equipment and work areas are clean and properly maintained.
