Job Location: Croatia

VIZALTO is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Work Paint Technician to join its automotive team in Croatia. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing, preparing, refinishing, and painting vehicle body components, with particular emphasis on luxury and premium vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automotive body repair and high-quality paint finishing.

Automotive Body Work Paint Technician

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Body Work Paint Technician or in a similar automotive body repair and painting position.
  • Experience working with luxury cars is required, particularly BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi.
  • Strong experience in car body repair and automotive painting.
  • Skilled in surface preparation, sanding, filling, masking, priming, painting, blending, and polishing.
  • Good knowledge of automotive paint systems, refinishing materials, and color matching.
  • Ability to achieve high-quality finishes suitable for premium and luxury vehicles.
  • Familiarity with automotive spray-painting equipment and body repair tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to identify paint and bodywork defects and perform necessary corrections.
  • Good understanding of workshop safety and proper handling of automotive chemicals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform automotive body repair and paint preparation for luxury and premium vehicles.
  • Work on vehicles from brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi.
  • Inspect damaged vehicle bodies and identify the appropriate repair and refinishing procedures.
  • Repair dents, scratches, cracks, and other body damage using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Remove damaged or defective body panels and prepare surfaces for repair and painting.
  • Perform sanding, grinding, filling, masking, and surface preparation before painting.
  • Prepare and apply primers, basecoats, clear coats, and other automotive refinishing materials.
  • Match paint colors accurately to the original vehicle finish.
  • Perform blending and spot repairs to achieve seamless paint transitions.
  • Ensure painted surfaces are smooth, even, clean, and free from defects.
  • Operate spray guns and other automotive painting equipment safely and correctly.
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and established procedures for luxury vehicle repairs and refinishing.
  • Inspect completed bodywork and paint finishes for quality, color consistency, texture, and appearance.
  • Correct paint defects such as runs, sags, uneven coverage, dust, or imperfections.
  • Polish and finish painted surfaces to achieve a high-quality showroom appearance.
  • Protect vehicle interiors, glass, trim, wheels, and other components during repair and painting work.
  • Properly clean, maintain, and store painting tools, spray equipment, and workshop materials.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling paints, solvents, thinners, and other automotive chemicals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe body repair and paint workstation.
  • Follow workplace health, safety, environmental, and hazardous-material handling procedures.
  • Coordinate with body repair technicians, mechanics, supervisors, and other workshop personnel.
  • Complete assigned repair and painting work within required quality and production standards.
