COOK/DOMESTIC HELPER

Qualifications:

• Age: 26–35 years old.
• At least 2 years of GCC experience as a Cook, Domestic Helper, or in a similar household position.
• Proven experience preparing and cooking Arabic food.
• Good knowledge of Arabic cooking methods, ingredients, spices, and common dishes.
• Ability to prepare meals independently according to household preferences and instructions.
• Knowledge of proper food handling, kitchen hygiene, and sanitation.
• Able to perform general household cleaning and domestic duties.
• Physically fit and capable of performing cooking, cleaning, laundry, and other household tasks.
• Responsible, hardworking, trustworthy, and respectful of household privacy.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Able to follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook daily meals according to household requirements and preferences.
• Prepare a variety of Arabic dishes using appropriate ingredients and cooking methods.
• Follow recipes and instructions to ensure proper taste, quality, and presentation.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and other meals as required.
• Clean, cut, season, marinate, and prepare meat, vegetables, seafood, and other ingredients.
• Maintain proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation practices while preparing meals.
• Ensure the kitchen, cooking areas, utensils, appliances, and work surfaces are clean and organized.
• Check food supplies and inform the household when ingredients or other kitchen supplies need replenishment.
• Store food and ingredients properly to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
• Assist with grocery preparation, food organization, and kitchen inventory when required.
• Wash dishes, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Assist with general household cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Clean and organize bedrooms, living areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and other assigned household areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and maintain household cleanliness.
• Assist with laundry, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing clothes and household linens.
• Keep household items and personal belongings properly organized.
• Follow instructions and respect the privacy, routines, and preferences of the household.
• Use household cleaning products, kitchen equipment, and appliances safely and correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly household environment.
• Perform other cooking, domestic helper, and household duties as assigned by the employer.
