AUTO PAINTER

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Skilled in using spray guns and automotive painting equipment.
  • Knowledge of both waterborne and solvent-based paint systems.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow technical instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, removing rust, repairing dents and cracks, and masking areas that should not be painted.
  • Mix and match paints accurately to achieve original vehicle colors or custom finishes.
  • Apply automotive paint using spray guns and proper painting techniques.
  • Perform polishing, buffing, waxing, and touch-up work to achieve a smooth, high-quality finish.
  • Inspect completed paintwork for imperfections and make necessary corrections.
  • Clean and maintain spray guns, painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Monitor and properly manage paint, chemicals, and other materials used in the painting process.
