ASPHALT PLANT OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience as an Asphalt Plant Operator or in a similar role.
• Experience operating asphalt production plants, batching systems, or related heavy industrial equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of asphalt production processes, plant controls, and material handling.
• Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and environmental compliance.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot basic operational issues.
• Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor and industrial environments.
• Willing to work extended hours, shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.
• Responsible, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor asphalt plant equipment to ensure continuous and efficient production.
• Control production processes to produce asphalt mixtures according to project specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect plant equipment, conveyors, burners, dryers, mixers, and control systems before and during operations.
• Monitor material feed, temperatures, and production output to maintain product consistency.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, lubrication, and minor repairs on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and report equipment malfunctions to the maintenance team.
• Maintain accurate production logs, equipment inspection records, and maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Keep the plant and surrounding work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Perform other duties related to plant operations as assigned by the Plant Supervisor.
