AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

 Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, Major in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• With 3–5 years of experience in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• Male, 24–40 years old.
• With a valid driver’s license and knows how to drive a car.
• Can speak Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems, components, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Able to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system problems effectively.
• Knowledgeable in the proper use of AC and refrigeration tools, testing equipment, gauges, and service equipment.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance and equipment servicing procedures.
• Knowledge of safe refrigerant handling, electrical safety, and workplace safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically capable of performing hands-on maintenance, repair, installation, and servicing work.
• Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a maintenance team.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to follow company policies, technical procedures, safety standards, and management instructions.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of AC and refrigeration units to identify mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues.
• Diagnose system faults using appropriate testing tools, meters, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure efficient and reliable operation of equipment.
• Check refrigerant levels, pressures, temperatures, electrical connections, controls, and other system components.
• Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, and related servicing procedures as required.
• Inspect and service compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion devices, motors, fans, thermostats, and other components.
• Clean and maintain coils, filters, drain lines, condensers, evaporators, and other system parts.
• Identify refrigerant leaks and perform appropriate repair and servicing procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control-system problems affecting AC and refrigeration equipment.
• Replace defective or worn components and ensure proper installation and operation after repairs.
• Test repaired equipment to verify proper performance, cooling capacity, temperature, and system operation.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, replacement parts, and service work.
• Respond to maintenance requests and attend to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Follow technical manuals, equipment specifications, service procedures, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing instruments, refrigerant equipment, and other service tools safely and correctly.
• Maintain tools, equipment, work areas, and maintenance facilities in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow proper procedures when handling refrigerants, oils, chemicals, electrical components, and other hazardous materials.
• Observe workplace safety, environmental, and operational procedures at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other technicians regarding repair and maintenance requirements.
• Communicate equipment problems, repair requirements, and recommendations clearly to supervisors.
• Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of new AC and refrigeration equipment when required.
• Perform other air-conditioning, refrigeration, and maintenance duties assigned by management.
