Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in kitchen operations, food preparation, or food service establishments.
• GCC work experience is required by the employer.
• Applicants with previous Kuwait work experience are not preferred (NO EX-KUWAIT).
• Basic knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-rounded, hands-on, and knowledgeable in kitchen operations and food service procedures.
• Able to perform different kitchen duties and adapt to rotating assignments across various work areas.
• Cheerful, pleasant, and customer-oriented personality.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to adjust to the company’s work culture and operational requirements.
• Knowledge of food safety, proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and food service activities.
• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, slicing, chopping, and portioning food items.
• Assist cooks and kitchen supervisors in preparing and assembling menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Perform different kitchen tasks and rotate between assigned work areas as required by operational needs.
• Ensure ingredients, food supplies, and kitchen materials are properly stored, labeled, and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen workstations, preparation areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow food safety procedures, hygiene standards, and proper food-handling practices.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing food deliveries and kitchen supplies.
• Monitor ingredient and supply levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service.
• Follow instructions from the head chef, kitchen supervisor, or restaurant management.
• Perform other related kitchen duties as assigned.
