NMDC Group is seeking experienced AC Mechanics to perform the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems on offshore vessels in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidates will ensure the efficient and reliable operation of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment while maintaining compliance with offshore safety and quality standards.

AC MECHANIC

Qualifications:

• Trade Certificate in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience as an AC Mechanic.
• Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems on offshore vessels is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Chillers
  • Split-type and window-type air conditioning units
  • Refrigeration systems
  • HVAC mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in offshore environments.
• Safety-conscious and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems on offshore vessels.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chillers, split-type units, window-type air conditioners, and refrigeration systems.
• Repair or replace defective compressors, motors, fans, thermostats, and other HVAC components.
• Conduct system performance testing and ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Recharge refrigerants and perform leak detection in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment conditions to supervisors.
• Follow company safety procedures and offshore operational standards at all times.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the employer.
