TEKLA STRUCTURE DETAILER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Civil Engineering.
• No specific minimum educational attainment beyond the required Civil Engineering degree.
• Experience in structural detailing and/or steel construction is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Willing and able to learn and use Navision and CRM calculation programs.
• Experience with Tekla Structures is an advantage.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and complete project budgets with support from the Project Manager.
• Calculate project cost prices accurately based on drawings, specifications, quantities, materials, and labor requirements.
• Request and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Analyze project files, drawings, and technical documents to identify gaps, discrepancies, and potential issues.
• Prepare and review structural detailing and fabrication information using Tekla Structures.
• Develop accurate 3D structural models, shop drawings, and detailed construction drawings based on project requirements.
• Coordinate structural details with engineers, project managers, fabricators, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and implement appropriate improvements.
• Ensure drawings and technical documentation comply with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide updates to the Project Manager.
• Perform other structural detailing, estimation, and project support duties as assigned.
