CNC Lathe Machine Setter

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating CNC lathe machines, including setting up and adjusting CNC turning centers according to production requirements.
  • Able to load and modify programs in cooperation with the technologist
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work independently
  • Able to use measuring instruments for checking first-piece dimensions and ensuring compliance with technical documentation
  • Experience with machine control systems: SINUMERIK, Mitsubishi M70/M80, Mazatrol, YASNAC, FANUC

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and adjust CNC turning centers according to production requirements
  • Load and modify programs in cooperation with the technologist
  • Perform visual and auditory checks of machine operation
  • Replace worn cutting inserts and tools, adjust tool offsets
  • Measure first-piece dimensions and ensure compliance with technical documentation
