Radisson Blu Hotel is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Masseuse / Massage Therapist to join its wellness and spa team in Qatar. The successful candidate will provide professional massage treatments and wellness services that promote relaxation, relieve stress, and enhance guests’ overall well-being. The role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism.
Masseuse / Massage Therapist
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Masseuse/Massage Therapist in a hotel, resort, spa, or wellness center; hotel experience is preferred.
- Candidates must possess a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Massage Therapy, Wellness, or a related field.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proficient in various massage techniques, including Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Aromatherapy.
- Good command of spoken and written English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance with strong attention to personal hygiene and grooming.
- Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Passionate about wellness and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional massage treatments, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, and other approved spa therapies.
- Assess guests’ needs and recommend suitable treatments based on their health conditions and preferences.
- Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and proper setup before and after each session.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, grooming, and professional appearance at all times.
- Ensure guest comfort, privacy, and confidentiality throughout every treatment.
- Maintain accurate client records, treatment notes, and appointment schedules.
- Promote spa services, wellness programs, and retail products to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure massage equipment, linens, oils, and supplies are properly maintained and replenished.
- Follow hotel policies, health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate with the spa reception and other hotel departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Respond professionally to guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the Spa Manager or hotel management.
