Waiter and Waitress

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Waiter, Waitress, Food Server, or similar hospitality position is an advantage.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Pleasant, courteous, and professional personality.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and hygiene practices is an advantage.
• Ability to follow instructions and company service standards.
• Responsible, hardworking, and customer-oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and provide information about food and beverage items.
• Take customers’ food and beverage orders accurately.
• Communicate orders clearly to kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check customer satisfaction during meals and respond appropriately to requests.
• Clear and clean tables after customers finish their meals.
• Set up tables, dining areas, and service stations before and during operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the dining and service areas.
• Handle customer requests, concerns, and complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen and other service staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with setting up and closing the dining area as required.
• Process or coordinate customer bills and payments according to company procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance and proper personal hygiene.
• Follow company policies, workplace safety procedures, and service standards.
• Perform other duties related to restaurant or hospitality operations as assigned.
