WAITRESS

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Applicants must be 35 years old and below.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, resorts, or other hospitality establishments is preferred.
• Ability to take customer orders accurately and provide attentive, professional service.
• Good English communication skills.
• Pleasant personality, well-groomed appearance, and courteous, professional attitude.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of basic dining service procedures and restaurant etiquette.
• Understanding of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Good attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements when required.
• Present menus, explain available dishes and beverages, and answer customer questions.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them promptly to the kitchen or service team.
• Serve food and drinks in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Check orders before serving to ensure accuracy and presentation standards.
• Monitor guest needs throughout the dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
• Handle customer concerns, complaints, and special requests professionally, referring complex issues to the supervisor when necessary.
• Set up tables with appropriate tableware, glassware, napkins, and other dining essentials.
• Clear used dishes, utensils, and glasses and prepare tables for the next guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining areas, service stations, and assigned workspaces.
• Follow food hygiene, sanitation, and safe food-handling procedures.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, cashiers, supervisors, and other service personnel to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Assist with menu recommendations and inform guests about daily specials or available promotions.
• Process orders and payments when assigned and follow the establishment’s cash-handling procedures.
• Replenish service supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow service standards, workplace policies, and instructions from management.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and professional conduct throughout each shift.
• Help prepare dining areas before service and clean and organize them after service.
• Perform other restaurant and hospitality duties assigned by the supervisor.
