Garamut Enterprises Ltd. is seeking an experienced Security Manager to oversee the company’s security operations in Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing security programs, supervising security personnel, assessing risks, and ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, facilities, and company assets.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience as a Security Manager or in a similar security leadership role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Protective Services & Management or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of access control systems, security risk assessment, and local and national security regulations.
- Proven ability to recruit, train, schedule, and supervise security personnel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present risk reports to executives and coordinate with law enforcement agencies.
- Ability to remain calm and make rapid, accurate decisions during emergency situations.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and manage the organization’s security policies, procedures, and operations.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise in-house security guards and third-party security contractors.
- Conduct security risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize potential threats.
- Monitor access control systems, surveillance equipment, and physical security measures.
- Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and external security providers when required.
- Conduct regular security inspections, audits, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable local and national security regulations.
- Prepare security reports, incident documentation, and risk assessments for management.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Perform other security management duties as assigned by the employer.
