Workshop Manager (Vehicles And Heavy Equipment)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in vehicle and heavy equipment maintenance, with at least 3 years in a relevant managerial role.
  Strong knowledge and experience in diesel engines, heavy trucks, forklifts and plant equipment.
• Familiar with hybrid systems, refrigeration & air conditioning and solar-integrated machinery.
• Computer literacy, proficiency in workshop management systems and MS Office reporting tools.
• Valid driver’s license; physically fit and capable of field-based supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage workshop operations, supervising mechanics and technicians to ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality service.
• Oversee maintenance of fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and machinery, ensuring timely preventive and corrective repairs
• Control inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables while coordinating cost-effective procurement with the Procurement team.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards; maintain accurate maintenance and performance records
• Develop and train workshop staff and apprentices through structured mentoring and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate operations with logistics, contractors, and service providers to support smooth and continuous business operations.
