Axis Infinite Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Welder to support precision engineering and manufacturing projects in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality welding on various metals, interpret technical drawings, and maintain weld integrity according to industry standards.

WELDER

Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: Graduate of Tertiary or Secondary Education.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years as a Welder, preferably in precision machining, automotive, or heavy industries.
  • Certifications: TESDA National Certificate (NC II or higher) in Welding required; AWS/ASME certifications are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in multiple welding processes (MIG/GMAW, TIG/GTAW).
  • Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
  • Ability to work with thin-gauge metals without warping.
  • Communication: Basic to functional English proficiency for clear communication with supervisors and international teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding using TIG, MIG, or Arc processes on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.
  • Prepare, clamp, tack-weld, heat-bend, or grind component parts to achieve required configurations.
  • Inspect welds for defects such as cracks, bubbles, or structural weaknesses.
  • Maintain welding tools and machinery for efficiency and safety.
  • Comply with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
