Job Vacancy: Welder I – Non-Ferrous (3G/4G) / Welding – Aluminum

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Welder I – Non-Ferrous (Aluminum Welding 3G/4G) to join Zamil Shipyards in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing high-quality welding works on aluminum and non-ferrous metal structures used in shipbuilding and marine applications.
Welder I – Non-Ferrous (3G/4G) / Welding – Aluminum
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Welder, preferably in shipyard, marine, or heavy fabrication industry
- Certified in 3G and 4G welding positions (preferred or equivalent qualification)
- Experience in aluminum welding (non-ferrous materials)
- Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, technical drawings, and WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications)
- Skilled in using welding equipment such as MIG/TIG for aluminum applications
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, joint preparation, and material behavior
- Physically fit and capable of working in shipyard and industrial environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Good teamwork, discipline, and safety awareness
- Willing to work in shifting schedules and demanding conditions
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding of aluminum and other non-ferrous materials for ship structures and components
- Execute welding works in accordance with 3G/4G positions and approved procedures
- Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and WPS documents
- Prepare joints, clean materials, and ensure proper fit-up before welding
- Inspect welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with standards
- Repair or rework defective welds as required
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow strict shipyard safety rules and quality control procedures
- Coordinate with fabricators, fitters, and inspectors during production work
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe and clean condition

- Graduate of any four (4) year course or College Level
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
