Retro Riverside Wellness Resort s.r.o. is seeking qualified and experienced Waiters/Waitresses to join its hospitality team in the Czech Republic. The successful candidates will provide professional, fast, and efficient food and beverage service to hotel and resort guests while maintaining high standards of customer service, attention to detail, courtesy, and professionalism.

Waiter/Waitress

Qualifications:

• Male or Female, 25–40 years old.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience working as a Waiter/Waitress in hotels.
• At least elementary school graduate.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service quality.
• Capable of providing fast and efficient service.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Communicative, responsible, careful, courteous, and professional.
• Strong ability to work effectively as part of a hospitality team.
• Able to remain calm and professional in a busy hotel or restaurant environment.
• Good knowledge of proper table service and food and beverage handling practices.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Willing to follow hotel policies, service standards, and workplace procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and courteously assist guests upon arrival at the restaurant or dining area.
• Present menus and provide information about available food and beverage selections.
• Take guests’ food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and beverages according to established hotel and restaurant service standards.
• Ensure orders are delivered promptly and correctly to the appropriate guests.
• Provide attentive and professional table service throughout the guest’s dining experience.
• Answer guest questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and available selections when required.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and service of orders.
• Check completed orders before serving to ensure accuracy, presentation, and completeness.
• Monitor tables and respond promptly to additional guest requests.
• Clear used plates, glasses, utensils, and other items from tables efficiently.
• Set and reset tables according to restaurant and hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and proper presentation of dining and service areas.
• Prepare dining areas before service, including tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, napkins, and other service items.
• Handle guest concerns and requests courteously and refer issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Process or coordinate guest bills and payments according to company procedures.
• Maintain proper handling and care of restaurant equipment, tableware, and service supplies.
• Follow food hygiene, sanitation, health, and workplace safety procedures.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverage service items.
• Assist with special events, functions, banquets, and other hotel dining activities when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude when interacting with guests.
• Work closely with other restaurant and hotel staff to provide smooth and efficient service.
• Monitor supplies and inform supervisors when service items need replenishment.
• Follow hotel policies, restaurant procedures, and instructions from supervisors and management.
• Perform other food and beverage service duties assigned by management.
