The Setouch Tech. Cooperative Association is hiring Vegetable Farmers (Cultivation Agriculture) for agricultural work in Japan. The role involves hands-on farm work focused on vegetable planting, cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting while following proper farming techniques, quality standards, and safety practices.

VEGETABLE FARMER (Cultivation Agriculture)

Qualifications:

  • At least High School Graduate.
  • Physically and mentally fit to work abroad.
  • Medically fit for overseas employment.
  • Willing to perform manual farm work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a farm team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare soil and farmland for vegetable cultivation.
  • Plant, transplant, and cultivate various types of vegetables.
  • Perform regular farm maintenance such as weeding, watering, fertilizing, and pest control.
  • Monitor crop growth and report any issues affecting yield or quality.
  • Harvest vegetables according to schedule and quality standards.
  • Sort, clean, and prepare harvested produce for packaging or shipment.
  • Maintain farming tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Follow agricultural safety standards and employer instructions at all times.

Skill Standards & Language Proficiency Requirements:

(A) First Timer

  • Prometric Exam in the desired skill category
  • JLPT N4 or JFT Basic with a score above 200

(B) TITP Graduate Applying to the Same Skill Category

  • OTIT or JITCO Certificate
  • Grade 3 Certificate (Senmonkyuu)
  • No need for JLPT N4 or JFT Basic

(C) TITP Graduate Applying to a Different Skill Category

  • OTIT or JITCO Certificate
  • Prometric Exam in the desired skill category
  • JLPT N4 or JFT Basic is required
