Acajou Beach Resort is seeking professional and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join its hospitality team in Seychelles. The role involves delivering excellent dining service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality in a resort environment.
WAITER / WAITRESS
Qualifications:
- Hotel School Graduate with a Certificate in Restaurant & Bar or related qualification.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in food and beverage service.
- At least 18 years old.
- Knowledgeable in hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Familiar with food safety and health regulations.
- Working knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and common beverages.
- Understanding of food preparation and food service operations.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, energetic, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist guests with professionalism and a warm, friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently and according to service standards.
- Explain menu items and provide recommendations when needed.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through attentive and high-quality customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper table setup before, during, and after service.
- Follow strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
