TIVR Limited is seeking a skilled Timber Joiner / Furniture Maker to produce high-quality wooden furniture, doors, and windows from raw timber. The role involves operating woodworking machinery, assembling components, and ensuring excellent finishing standards.

TIMBER JOINER/FURNITURE MAKER

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in furniture making or timber joinery
• Ability to fabricate furniture, doors, and windows using raw timber
• Skilled in operating woodworking machines such as tenoner, spindle moulder (boulder), planer, and related equipment
• Knowledge of varnishing and spray finishing is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual work
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and assemble wooden furniture, doors, and windows
• Operate and maintain woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber components
• Apply finishing techniques such as sanding, varnishing, and spray painting
• Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area
• Follow production schedules and meet deadlines
