Carpenter Motors Vanuatu Limited is seeking a skilled Paint and Panel Supervisor to oversee daily paint and panel repair operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive body repair and painting, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure high-quality workmanship and productivity within the workshop.

Paint and Panel Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in a related field; Diploma or certification in Automotive Body Repair, Painting, or similar preferred.
• Proven experience in automotive paint and panel operations.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of body repair, spray painting, and color matching techniques.
• Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment and maintain quality under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily paint and panel repair operations, assigning tasks to technicians and painters.
• Monitor workflow to ensure repair jobs are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities.
• Inspect repair and paint work to maintain high-quality standards, including color matching and finishing.
• Identify and correct workmanship issues before vehicle release.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, productivity, and safety in the workshop.
• Supervise panel beaters, painters, and other workshop staff.
• Train and guide employees on repair techniques, safety procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor employee performance and productivity, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and a positive working environment within the workshop.
