TIG WELDER
Ajm United Steel Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled TIG Welder to join our top-tier steel fabrication team in Australia. The ideal candidate will have strong welding expertise, particularly in stainless steel and aluminium, and be capable of producing high-quality welds in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Qualifications:
- Trade qualification in Welding, Metal Fabrication, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a TIG Welder in manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering
- Strong TIG welding skills with a high-quality finish
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
- Familiarity with welding procedures, joint preparation, and weld inspection
- Experience with MIG welding or other welding processes
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and/or aluminium components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and fabrication plans
- Prepare joints, set up welding equipment, and execute welds to specification
- Perform MIG welding or other welding processes as required
- Conduct quality checks and inspections using standard tools and procedures
- Ensure all welds meet company and industry quality standards
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete fabrication projects efficiently

- Valid passport (not less than a year before expiry)
- Valid NBI clearance (not less than 6 months before expiry)
- 2 x 2 recent picture (at least 2 pcs)
