Technician

Qualifications:

• Applicants must have solid work experience in the Semiconductor and Electronics Industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar position within the semiconductor industry.
• Holder of a Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, production processes, and equipment maintenance.
• Experienced in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and electronic production equipment.
• Willing to work overtime and stand for extended hours during production shifts.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with production and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain semiconductor manufacturing equipment and production systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct equipment inspections and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or electronic faults.
• Perform machine setup, calibration, and parameter adjustments according to production requirements.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality and process standards.
• Record maintenance activities, equipment performance, and production data accurately.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
• Replace defective machine components and perform minor repairs as required.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), preventive maintenance schedules, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom procedures, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) requirements, and contamination control standards where applicable.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Observe all workplace health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Willingly render overtime work and support production during peak operational requirements.
• Perform other technical and maintenance duties assigned by management.
