Equipment Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as an Equipment Engineer.
• Solid work experience in the Semiconductor and Electronics Industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of equipment repair, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience working with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, automation systems, or production machinery.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willing to work overtime and support production requirements when necessary.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment and production machinery.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic equipment failures.
• Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production support requirements.
• Install, commission, calibrate, and validate new manufacturing equipment and process tools.
• Analyze equipment failures and recommend improvements to increase machine reliability and productivity.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Coordinate with production, process engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, spare parts inventory, and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, cleanroom protocols, quality management systems, and workplace safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment optimization projects.
• Perform other engineering and maintenance duties assigned by management.
