Flexible Human Services / Th. Vergeer en Zonen B.V. is hiring a Technical Service Manager Engineering for deployment to the Netherlands. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production machinery and process equipment within a large-scale cheese production and packaging facility, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• Must not be older than 30 years old at the date of hiring.
• Completed MBO qualification (preferably Level 4) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of and experience with electrical circuits, pneumatics, and mechanical engineering.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing production machinery and industrial equipment.
• Experience in turning and stainless-steel welding is an advantage but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and work effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to learn the Dutch language.
• Willing to work 40 hours per week in a 5-shift rotation schedule.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve major faults in production machinery, installations, and process equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Implement technical improvements and modifications to optimize production processes.
• Process and maintain maintenance records, fault reports, and service documentation.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure product quality throughout production.
• Support the handling, preparation, and processing of cheese products when required.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and ensure machinery remains operational.
• Assist in preparing products for dispatch, packaging, labeling, and shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency within the production environment.
• Work closely with a team of technicians to ensure continuous operation of production lines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to support production and operational requirements.
