Sushi Chef

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in Japanese and Chinese cuisine.
• Proven expertise in sushi preparation and authentic cooking techniques.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in food preparation or service.
• Preferably Muslim applicants.
• Reliable, customer-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present authentic Japanese and Chinese dishes, with a focus on sushi, ensuring the highest standards of taste, quality, and visual appeal.
• Maintain consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion sizes according to restaurant standards.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and ensure proper storage and hygiene practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth and timely food service.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, if applicable.
