The Shady Rest Hotel is seeking an experienced and highly organized Supply Chain Procurement Manager to oversee procurement activities for food, beverage, and hotel operational supplies. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation and supplier management skills, a solid understanding of cost control, and the ability to maintain uninterrupted supply while ensuring quality and compliance with hotel standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / College Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within hospitality, hotel, or food & beverage operations.
• Experience in hotel or resort environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Sound understanding of cost control, inventory management, and budgeting.
• Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and execute procurement activities for food, beverage, and operational supplies.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain optimal value in terms of price, quality, and delivery.
• Establish and maintain approved supplier lists and purchasing contracts.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and ethical purchasing standards.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to control procurement costs and meet budget targets.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to recommend cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and analyze procurement reports, including cost variance and supplier performance.
• Coordinate purchasing schedules to ensure uninterrupted supply while avoiding overstocking or wastage.
• Collaborate with stores, kitchen, and operational teams to forecast demand accurately.
• Support inventory control systems and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Ensure purchased goods meet required quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Manage supplier performance issues, including quality discrepancies and delivery delays.
• Maintain proper documentation for all procurement transactions.
• Provide procurement support for new menus, promotions, and special events.
• Assist management with procurement planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
