STRUCTURAL FABRICATOR

Qualifications:

  • Male applicants only, up to 45 years old.
  • Must have relevant work experience in modular fabrication.
  • Overseas work experience is preferred.
  • Applicants must be able to provide the required certifications relevant to the position they are applying for.
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, fit-up techniques, and fabrication drawings.
  • Ability to use fabrication tools, measuring instruments, and workshop equipment.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fabrication yard environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate, assemble, and fit structural steel components for modular fabrication projects.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication sketches, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Measure, mark, cut, align, and prepare materials for fabrication using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Perform fit-up activities to ensure proper alignment and accurate assembly before welding.
  • Inspect fabricated components to verify dimensions, tolerances, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with welders, supervisors, and quality inspectors to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies.
  • Report fabrication issues, material shortages, or equipment problems to supervisors.
