Piping Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience required
- No minimum educational attainment required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in piping construction, installation, or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of international piping codes and standards, including ASME and API.
- Good understanding of piping construction methods, procedures, and work processes.
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in documentation, reporting, and project scheduling.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage site activities and work effectively with contractors and project teams.
- Knowledge of safety practices, including Job Safety Analysis and Risk Assessment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate workers involved in pipe installation, assembly, fabrication, and repair activities.
- Interpret and apply engineering drawings, piping isometrics, blueprints, and project specifications.
- Ensure piping works are completed according to approved methods, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Coordinate the procurement, delivery, inspection, and proper use of tools, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor work progress and prepare documentation, reports, and updates for project management.
- Ensure compliance with international piping codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Implement safe work practices, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessment procedures.
- Resolve site issues and coordinate effectively with contractors, engineers, and other project teams.
- Ensure proper execution of method statements and work processes.
- Support project scheduling and resource planning to meet completion targets.
