STOREKEEPER ASSISTANT

Qualifications:

Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience in warehouse, inventory, or storekeeping operations.

Bachelor’s / College Degree in Others or related fields.

Knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and stock management.

Ability to handle deliveries, documentation, and inventory records accurately.

Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving warehouse materials when required.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Storekeeper in managing daily warehouse and storeroom operations.

Organize and maintain inventory to ensure proper storage and easy accessibility of goods.

Receive incoming deliveries, unload shipments, and verify quantities against delivery notes or waybills.

Inspect incoming items for damages, discrepancies, or quality issues before storage.

Store goods in designated warehouse locations according to inventory procedures.

Prepare and assist in issuing materials, supplies, and stock for outgoing deliveries or requests.

Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to supervisors.

Maintain accurate inventory records, stock cards, and warehouse documentation.

Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the warehouse and storage areas.

Assist in periodic stock counts and inventory audits.

Follow company safety procedures and proper handling practices for materials and equipment.
