We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join Seazen Group Co. in Kuwait. The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising the culinary team, and ensuring the consistent preparation of high-quality dishes in a fine dining environment.
Sous Chef
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen leadership role
- Experience in Italian, Intercontinental, or International cuisine, preferably in a fine dining restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional dining experiences
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in supervising and managing daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and oversee the production of high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Supervise and support kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and productivity
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and food cost control
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the ordering and storage of kitchen supplies
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Support the Head Chef in achieving operational goals and maintaining exceptional culinary standards

- Graduate of any four (4) year course or College Level
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
