SITE SUPERVISOR (CIVIL)

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of hands-on experience in civil construction supervision.
• Proven experience supervising large-scale retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use construction projects.
• Strong background in earthworks, excavation, concrete works, formwork, reinforcement, block work, finishing works, and general civil construction activities.
• Scaffolding Supervisor certification or equivalent safety certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings, construction details, and project specifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, material standards, workmanship quality requirements, and civil construction best practices.
• Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Hands-on experience using construction tools, site equipment, and heavy machinery related to civil works.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team management skills.
• High level of discipline, accountability, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple site activities efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities for large-scale retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Manage civil construction crews, laborers, and subcontractors performing earthworks, excavation, concrete works, formwork, reinforcement, block work, and finishing works.
• Plan site activities, interpret civil engineering drawings, and ensure all work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship quality, productivity, and compliance with project standards.
• Coordinate daily manpower deployment, work schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion of project activities.
• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and promote safe working practices on site.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit daily reports on project progress, manpower attendance, material usage, and site activities to the Site Engineer.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues, work delays, and quality concerns in coordination with the Site Engineer and project team.
• Monitor the proper use, maintenance, and storage of construction tools, equipment, and materials.
• Verify material deliveries to ensure correct quantities and compliance with project specifications.
• Assist in site setting-out, leveling, dimensional checks, and other surveying-related activities as directed by the Site Engineer.
• Support quality control activities, including concrete pour inspections, formwork inspections, reinforcement verification, and general civil works inspections.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment throughout project execution.
