SITE ENGINEER (ARCHITECTURAL)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in architectural engineering for construction projects.
• Proven experience on large-scale retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use developments.
• Hands-on experience with façade systems, interior fit-outs, cladding, joinery, ceiling installations, painting, and architectural finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, detail drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Experience in site measurements, dimensional verification, setting-out activities, and quality inspections.
• Knowledge of construction materials, finishing standards, quality control procedures, and site supervision practices.
• Familiarity with construction management ERP systems, digital reporting tools, and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor daily architectural construction activities for retail, commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Oversee masonry, plastering, tiling, cladding, façade systems, ceiling installations, joinery, painting, and finishing works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure accurate execution of site activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify workmanship, finishing standards, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, site supervisors, and construction teams to ensure architectural works are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Prepare daily progress reports, site records, and work completion documentation for submission to the Project Engineer.
• Perform site measurements, dimensional checks, and setting-out activities for architectural elements.
• Monitor the delivery, storage, and usage of construction materials to maintain adequate inventory and minimize wastage.
• Identify technical issues, non-conformances, and construction challenges, and coordinate corrective actions with the Project Engineer.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, support quality control activities, and assist in preparing as-built documentation for project handover.
