SHIP WELDER (TITP)
Qualifications:
- At least a High School Graduate.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in semi-automatic welding.
- Must provide a Certificate of Employment (COE) issued not later than 2021.
- Physically and mentally fit to work abroad.
- Medically fit for overseas employment.
- Ability to read welding drawings and perform accurate, high-quality welds.
- Willing to work in Japan under the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP).
Responsibilities:
- Perform semi-automatic welding on ship structures, steel plates, and metal components.
- Read and interpret welding symbols, technical drawings, and fabrication plans.
- Prepare metal materials by cleaning, cutting, fitting, and positioning prior to welding.
- Inspect welds for quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other fabrication and shipbuilding tasks as required.
