People Inc. is seeking experienced Senior Tire Technicians to perform advanced tire servicing, repair, and replacement for various vehicles in New Zealand. The successful candidate will ensure vehicle safety, proper tire performance, and high-quality service delivery in accordance with industry standards.

Senior Tire Technician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years experience in the same field.
• Must have good English communication skills.
• With relevant hands-on experience for the position applied for.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of tire systems, repair methods, and vehicle safety standards.
• Ability to use tire servicing and diagnostic equipment accurately.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, replace, and balance tires for cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
• Diagnose tire damage, wear patterns, and alignment issues.
• Perform tire mounting and demounting using specialized tools and equipment.
• Conduct wheel balancing, rotation, and alignment checks.
• Ensure all tire services comply with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate service records and job reports.
• Provide recommendations to customers regarding tire maintenance and replacement.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of tires and related materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area and tools.
