Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in mechanical maintenance, utility piping systems, or industrial facilities.
• Experience in underground piping maintenance, repair, and inspection activities.
• Strong knowledge of utility piping networks including:
  • Chilled Water Systems
  • Fire Water Systems
  • Potable Water Systems
  • Sewage Networks
  • Drainage Systems
  • Irrigation Networks
  • Other facility-related piping systems
• Ability to supervise piping inspection, repair, replacement, pressure testing, flushing, and leak rectification activities.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting piping drawings, layouts, isometric drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for underground piping failures and leak detection.
• Experience preparing technical reports, maintenance records, and engineering documentation.
• Good communication, leadership, and team supervision skills.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and maintenance procedures.
• Experience in Saudi Aramco projects or large industrial facilities is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise underground piping maintenance activities including inspection, repair, replacement, and testing.
• Ensure safe and reliable operation of utility piping systems throughout the facility.
• Coordinate pressure testing, flushing, commissioning, and reinstatement activities.
• Investigate piping failures and identify leakage causes during excavation and repair operations.
• Monitor and evaluate maintenance work to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Review piping drawings, layouts, isometrics, and as-built documentation before maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance crews and contractors.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with project teams, operations personnel, and clients regarding maintenance schedules and work execution.
• Recommend improvements to enhance piping system reliability and operational efficiency.
• Support emergency repairs and troubleshooting activities when required.
