Senior Technician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Must be an Apple Certified Technician with a valid Apple GSX ID Number.
  • Previous work experience with an Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) is required.
  • Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Apple device diagnostics, repair procedures, and Apple service systems.
  • Experience in TV repair is an advantage.
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Apple devices, including hardware and software-related issues.
  • Perform component-level repairs, replacements, testing, and quality inspections following Apple service procedures.
  • Utilize Apple GSX systems to process repairs, verify warranty status, and maintain accurate service records.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) quality and technical standards.
  • Conduct functional testing before releasing repaired devices to customers.
  • Maintain repair tools, equipment, and workstations in good working condition.
  • Provide technical support and assist in resolving complex repair issues.
  • Document repair activities, service reports, and inventory usage accurately.
  • Assist in mentoring junior technicians and promoting best repair practices.
  • Perform TV repair and troubleshooting when required; experience in TV repair is an advantage.
