Camel Oil Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and support engineering operations within the oil and gas sector. The successful candidate will oversee the design, construction, maintenance, and optimization of fuel systems, pipelines, and terminal facilities, ensuring compliance with international standards and operational efficiency.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masterโ€™s degree is an advantage)
  • Minimum of 10โ€“15 years of experience in oil & gas/petroleum industry
  • Proven experience in oil depot construction, repair, and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of fuel systems, pipelines, and terminal operations
  • Familiarity with international engineering standards (API, ISO, OSHA)
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and project management abilities
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment

Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical engineering activities related to oil depot construction, repair, and maintenance
  • Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of fuel systems, pipelines, and terminal equipment
  • Ensure compliance with international engineering standards such as API, ISO, and OSHA
  • Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and technical evaluations of mechanical systems
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure system reliability and safety
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering and maintenance teams
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders for project execution
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and engineering plans
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
