Vision Investment Limited T/A Vision Motors is hiring a highly skilled Senior Automotive Electrician to join its automotive service team in Fiji. The company is looking for an experienced technician capable of handling advanced vehicle electrical diagnostics, system repairs, and team leadership in a modern automotive workshop environment.
This role is ideal for senior-level automotive electricians with strong expertise in conventional, hybrid, and electric vehicle systems.
Senior Automotive Electrician
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; automotive electrical training or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive electrical repair.
- At least 2 years in a senior or lead technician role.
- Certification as Master Technician (A1–A8) or EV-related credentials is highly desirable.
- Strong experience in diagnostic tools such as PicoScope, Fluke meters, and scan tools.
- Experience working with gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Physically capable of working in workshop environments and confined spaces.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced electrical diagnostics using multimeters, oscilloscopes, scan tools, and wiring diagrams.
- Identify faults in lighting systems, ignition systems, charging systems, sensors, and body control modules.
- Install, repair, and upgrade electrical components including alternators, starters, wiring harnesses, and modules.
- Diagnose and repair advanced systems such as ADAS, infotainment systems, hybrid/EV powertrains, and multiplex networks.
- Lead and supervise a team of 3–5 electricians and technicians.
- Provide hands-on training, task delegation, and quality control supervision.
- Coordinate with service advisors and parts departments for repair estimates and technical assessments.
- Ensure compliance with automotive electrical safety standards and high-voltage handling procedures.
- Document all electrical diagnostics, repairs, and parts used in digital service systems.
- Support warranty claims and maintain accurate service records.
- Recommend process improvements and new diagnostic techniques to improve workshop efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging automotive technologies including EV and autonomous systems.
