Semi Skilled Meat Worker

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in the meat processing industry, food manufacturing, or related production environments is preferred.
• Preference will be given to applicants with knife work experience, butcher qualifications, or meat industry experience.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and handling meat products.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sausages, cold cuts, and other processed meat products for packaging and distribution.
• Perform slicing, weighing, labeling, and packaging of meat products according to production specifications.
• Conduct manual sorting of meat products and remove any foreign materials or non-conforming items.
• Hang meat products onto rods and racks for processing, storage, or production requirements.
• Assist in the handling, movement, and preparation of raw and processed meat products.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards and food safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and production areas.
• Follow food hygiene, workplace safety, and quality assurance procedures at all times.
• Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Support production targets and contribute to efficient manufacturing operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors to support daily meat processing activities.
