SCADA ENGINEER

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / College Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in SCADA systems, industrial automation, or control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • SCADA platforms and HMI systems
    • PLC and RTU programming
    • Industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, etc.)
    • Telemetry and data acquisition systems
    • Industrial cybersecurity practices
  • Experience in water and wastewater treatment facilities is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and system integration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain SCADA systems, HMIs, and control interfaces.
  • Develop, update, and troubleshoot PLC, RTU, and telemetry communication programs.
  • Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability, data accuracy, and reliable communication across all sites.
  • Perform regular maintenance of SCADA servers, including backups, system updates, and patch management.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and industrial control system protection protocols.
  • Integrate new equipment, sensors, and control devices into existing SCADA systems.
  • Support installation, testing, and commissioning of automation and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot system failures and provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system configuration records.
