Globetek Engineering Resource is seeking skilled SAW Operators to support welding operations in Poland. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) equipment, setting welding parameters, and ensuring high-quality welds in accordance with approved procedures and industry standards.

SAW OPERATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in SAW welding or a related field.
• Must be at least a High School Graduate.
• Experienced in SAW tractor operation, welding parameter setup, and boiler/tubular welding.
• Ability to read and interpret Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and select the correct filler materials and flux.
• Willing to undergo additional training as a SAW Operator.
• Able to communicate effectively in English and willing to learn a new language.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) tractor equipment safely and efficiently.
• Set up and adjust welding parameters based on project and Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) requirements.
• Perform SAW welding for boiler and tubular fabrication projects.
• Read and interpret Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and select the appropriate filler materials and flux.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any operational issues.
• Follow workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in training and continuously improve welding skills and technical knowledge.
