Super Value Store Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager for deployment to Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, leading the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth within the retail industry.
SALES MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Business Studies, Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in sales management or retail operations.
- Must have working experience in the retail industry such as malls, supermarkets, hypermarkets, department stores, or similar establishments.
- Strong experience in sales planning, team supervision, and revenue generation strategies.
- Proven ability to develop go-to-market strategies, sales plans, and sales quotas.
- Experience in hiring, training, and managing sales personnel.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and sales reporting systems.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities:Oversee the daily operations of the sales department and ensure achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
- Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies, sales plans, and quota systems.
- Hire, train, supervise, and motivate Sales Representatives and sales department personnel.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Handle and resolve escalated customer concerns related to products and customer service.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to improve sales performance.
- Prepare sales forecasts, operational reports, and performance analysis for management review.
- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to support promotional activities and business growth.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards and maintain strong client relationships.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and retail industry standards.
