TIRE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar automotive service role.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
  • Must have a valid passport with at least two (2) years validity.
  • Knowledge of tire installation, repair procedures, wheel balancing, and basic alignment checks.
  • Ability to operate tire service equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Physically fit, hardworking, and able to perform automotive service tasks with attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect tires for wear, damage, punctures, uneven wear patterns, and proper inflation levels.
  • Remove, install, rotate, and replace tires using appropriate tire service tools and equipment.
  • Perform tire repairs, including puncture repairs, patching, and other approved repair methods.
  • Conduct wheel balancing procedures to ensure proper vehicle performance and safety.
  • Check and adjust tire pressure according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect wheels and rims for damage, defects, or safety concerns.
  • Perform wheel alignment checks and assist with alignment services when required.
  • Maintain tire service equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure proper handling of automotive equipment.
  • Provide accurate service recommendations based on tire and wheel inspection results.
