LIGHT/HEAVY MECHANIC

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Proven experience in heavy equipment and automotive mechanical repair is preferred.
  • Experience servicing backhoes, stone crushers, and loaders such as CAT 336, Hitachi 350, and Komatsu 360 is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of computerized diagnostic equipment, mechanical systems, and preventive maintenance.
  • Responsible, technically skilled, and able to work independently or as part of a maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect trucks, cranes, bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, and other heavy equipment to ensure proper operation and performance.
  • Diagnose mechanical and equipment faults using computerized diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy equipment such as backhoes, stone crushers, and loaders.
  • Repair or replace damaged and defective mechanical parts, components, and systems.
  • Inspect vehicle engines and mechanical components, identify faults, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Conduct equipment adjustments, troubleshooting, and routine servicing to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area while following proper maintenance and safety procedures.
