Gypsum Worker

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience as a Gypsum Worker or in a similar construction role.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
  • Must have a valid passport with at least two (2) years validity.
  • Knowledge of gypsum board installation, drywall systems, metal framing, and suspended ceiling works.
  • Ability to read and follow construction drawings and measurements.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and equipment related to gypsum installation.
  • Physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a construction environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and mark surfaces accurately according to project drawings, layouts, and specifications.
  • Cut, prepare, and install gypsum boards for walls, ceilings, partitions, and other interior structures.
  • Assemble and install metal stud and track framing systems for drywall applications.
  • Install suspended ceiling systems, drywall panels, and related finishing materials.
  • Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure installation of gypsum structures.
  • Perform finishing works such as joint treatment, patching, and surface preparation when required.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Follow construction site safety procedures and company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other workers to complete tasks according to project schedules.
