Quality Assurance (QA) Officer
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience as a Quality Assurance Officer, Food Safety Officer, or similar role.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
- Must possess a valid passport with at least two (2) years and six (6) months validity.
- Must have a strong background in Food and Beverage (F&B) operations, preferably with experience in a well-established company.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, quality control procedures, GMP, and GHP practices.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to conduct inspections and audits effectively.
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with different teams to maintain quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise food and beverage processing activities and final product stages to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
- Identify deviations, irregularities, quality issues, and potential food safety hazards, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Inspect raw materials, ingredients, and semi-finished products to verify freshness, quality, specifications, and suitability before use.
- Conduct regular kitchen and branch audits to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP).
- Perform routine testing and evaluation of finished products, including sensory assessments, physical measurements, and quality analysis.
- Verify that food products meet required standards for taste, appearance, texture, consistency, and overall quality.
- Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety, sanitation, and operational quality.
- Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to address quality concerns and ensure compliance with company standards.
